STEPHEN HAWKINS HIGH BLUNDER

An eminent scientist Dr Stephen Hawkins says God Does not exists, and this creation is not Gods work,this short article is a reply to his remarks published in recent newspapers.

It is very easy for the western people to state that God does not exist, and this world does not have originated from any supreme power or consciousness. The reason being is that the idea of God in western scripture is not complete (conceptually very weak) or say proper justification is not done with the lord, that is why we often hear such foolish remarks from eminent scientist, scholars and authors (even Indian origin) who have considerable influence of the western culture in their upbringing.

On the other hand, Vedic literature have done proper justification to this idea, but one has to read them all in order to get a clear picture, regarding His forms, nature, incarnations, rituals, demigods etc. if one cannot comprehend them all, which will of course take at least 12- 15 years of sincere study than at least reading of Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavat Puran can satisfy this urge of knowing and believing Him.

The reason that why material scientist cannot know or see the lord is very simple, all the living beings acts under the 3 modes (gunas)of material nature and because of that our senses,mind,intelligence  can  perceive only those objects  which are the product of these 3 modes,visible or invisible both. The action of these 3 modes are named as maya (Bahiranga shakti), since we are deluded by these modes we can never know Him if we continue this stubborn material approach of knowing Him through Material sciences.(Bhagavad Gita 7.13).

The lord is beyond these modes that’s why He is addressed as Nirguna (beyond modes) or transcendental. Krishna also says that 4 kinds of people can never know Me, which includes maya aprahita jnana  (BG 7.15) those whose intelligence has been stolen by the material energy( material scientist,scholors etc).

The lord says one can easily know Him through the science of Bhakti yoga process, Bhaktaya mam abhi janati yavan yachasmi tatvatah(BG 18.55)and not through any physical  or biological sciences, so one  should humbly approach a spiritual scientist(Self realized, saintly person,Spiritual master), as recommended by lord Sri Krishna (BG 4.34)  and not a physicist like Mr Hawkins for ascertaining whether or not God exist,more over God is conspicuous by His absence in this realm  of material energy. Krishna says  maiya adhyeksena prakriti hi suyate hi characharam(BG 9.10) This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My direction, O son of Kunti, producing all moving and nonmoving beings. The world will shatter if I do not support it  (BG 7.7)

On the personal level we do appreciate the contribution of Mr. Hawkins in the field of science but we request him to kindly take this spiritual approach in understanding the lord, with this he can perfect his life even in such a diseased and helpless condition. May Lord  give him spiritual intelligence so that he can perfect his life.
